Hand Foot and Mouth (sorry....long)

Some forget to pay me.....and unfortunately, one of them is my best friend from high school, and dcb is just a drop-in, so we don't have a contract and I don't want to ruin the friendship over it

OMG...that is a whole new thread on it's own..watching kids that belong to family and friends! You love them and the kids, but sometimes geting them to follow the rules or policies is tough. I have a friend who brings her little girl (has for 3 years) and just for s**ts and giggle, I kept track of what her late fees would be if I had kept track of them and actually charged her for late pymts. At the end of last year, she would have owed me over $500!! It was completely my fault for not enforcing the rules from the get go, but her kid came 2x per week for like 4-5 hours and if the 2 days were Monday and Tuesday and payments were due on Fri. she would just pay me on Monday or whatever next day of attendance was. I guess if she paid, I just figured since it wasn't a lot of $ then I didn't really care, but the late fee would have been over $500 just b/c pymts were never on Friday like everyone else. I've always heard if they were truly your friends then they would respect the fact that you are running a business and pay like everyone else, but there is a big difference between wishful thinking and true reality...so I feel for you about your BFF.
And for the record, most my parents are great! It is just 1 or 2 that get my panties in a bunch!
