So I had an impromptu day off today because we lost power. Well, I had one DCB here already, but he was picked up about 25 minutes after the outage started. With lack of heat and running water (we are on a well) I couldn't keep kids here. I could really enjoy a mid-week day off every week. I feel refreshed and ready to go for the rest of the week. (It could help that it's the last 2 days before Christmas break coming up, too haha).
