I had to go out to get new winter gear for my kids. My husband wanted me to wait closer to winter but since the storm yesterday and today I couldn't wait anymore. After I sent my last DCK home, the kids and I drove to the store in high winds and rain. I TOTALLY forgot how much it STINKS to drive in bad weather.

We don't get bad weather here too often but I think the same thing whenever I am out in rush hour and I think how I'm so glad I don't have to do that every day

New to daycare! My job was 30 - 40 minutes away. My goal was to make it through my 2 week notice without having to drive in snow!! I hated it, I would be 20 - 45 late picking up my daughter from daycare.
It hasnt snowed my last two weeks and I will never have to make that awful drive in snow to work again. I would be so late some days because of snow and my daycare provider would be mad at me.
Now I will be the mad provider!!! hahaha:
