My Friday the 13th So Far.....

I'm not generally superstitious, but today.....
1. The power got shut off at our center! I spaced on the bill! We were outside playing when the radio mysteriously stopped playing. Luckily, you can pay by phone and they remotely turn you back on instantly. But Grrrrrrr for forgetting.
2. My fire alarm malfunctioned and needed a service call to stop the incessant beeping. (not alarm going off, just quiet beeps) Had to pay a tech to come out and tell me the sensors just needed dusting. Grrrrrrr.
3. My youngest son (10) is going to Disney World with his grandparents after school. My mom reminded me like a gazillion times not to forget his suitcase. I forgot. So now I get to collect the suitcase and drive to their home in Bradenton after work. (23 miles) Better than driving to Orlando I guess. Grrrrrr
4. We have pizza every Friday. The guy was 45 minutes late with the delivery. A near riot ensued. "I'm.starving......I need pizza NOW!" GRRRRRR.
Ok maybe I am a little superstitious. I am a baseball fan after all.::

I only have one dck here today, so once she slept, I thought I'd treat my son to a little tv. Well, half an hr into her nap, she wakes up. She's normally a good sleeper, but lately...ugh..she'd turning two. :/ I turn thetv off & she's just laying there, awake. My son is now asleep however.

i had 4kids show up out of 6. 2 are home with stomachbug and sinus infection. of the 4 i have 3 are on meds and other one has dr appt today about cough. theyre all coughing though. we have got nothing done but im ok with that. im doing online shopping while theyre sleeping and after nap 2 will leave for the day possibly 3. its fairly ok here

I've been ordering from them for YEARS! They are never ever late (I tip really big, for that reason). Their oven broke down. Guess its bad luck over there too today. This pizza place is literally blocks away, very urban here. We could have all walked there and had "dine in", but no field trip forms were filled out!

well I was putting away milk in the fridge and accidentally broke a bottle of taco sauce ...oooooh Friday the 13th?
I have a black cat and he keeps trying to trip me because he wants to eat and I am so busy, maybe I should feed him or else..

and it's just 11:50 am so we will see how the rest of the day goes

I've had a great day!! Sorry y'all aren't having a great one too!! I even got a nap today. I don't get kids until 3:30 today .

I love Friday the 13th, normally. My eldest was born on 5/13/79, a Friday.

She and her dh always take any Friday the 13th off and go to DL, not like they need a reason. Anyway, both parents took the kids to school today which is not the routine for my grandson who has a lot of autistic attitudes. Guess who's been in the office twice today. Auntie went over to the school to intervene and get him back to class. No luck. Gpa is on his way to pick him up, drop him off, and turn around and drive another 20 miles one way to pick up the other 3 grandkids. I'm so not happy with my dd right now. She just doesn't think.
