Today has marked one of the top 5 worst days. My husband and I had to hospitalize our young school age daughter because she was threatening to kill 2 classmates at school. The doctor called today and gave the diagnosis of autism with possible schizophrenia. That was a really hard phone call, thank god it happened during the kids nap time! I broke down crying.

Then my husband calls me on his break shortly after to tell me that his job is on line. He works along side the government and they are going through budget cuts. If they go with the budget cuts in his area then my husbands whole department will be laid off. The government could decide as early as tomorrow or as late as dec 31st.

This evening at pick up a parent informed me that she will be ending her child care arrangements the end of the week due to an emergency. Due to the sensitivity to the situation that is all I can say.

I am ready for today to be over! I am really thinking about taking a personal day tomorrow but not sure if I should. The last unexpected day I took off was 4 years ago.

How awful... I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Just remember, one day at a time & take care of you! You need to be healthy to take on what's in front of you and if it involves a day off to gather yourself...then I say go for it! (((hugs)))
