I have mixed emotions. I know I did the right thing. But I just still feel bad. KWIM? It just was a bad situation. Between the dcb with ODD/ADD and now his little 10 mo brother not sleeping and being a real handful, I think I have gone above and beyond. But I still feel bad.....

Don't feel bad. You did what you needed to do. The child was struggling, you were stressed, it effects EVERYONE, especially the other children in care.

Mom was a bit snarky. But went better than it could have. She has a lot going on in her life, so I do feel bad for her. But I can't sacrifice myself for someone who isn't my family, right? So it is done. Just have to get thru this week...

The only reason you should feel guilty is if you didn't try everything first. It sounds like you did, so leave the guilt to the responsible party.
