    4 Hours On A Saturday-What To Charge?

    I have a dcg who's 6 yo. Her mom asked if I could watch her today from 5:30 to 9:30 ish. I usually charge 21 for a full work day(regular daycare hours). Should I charge by the hour or a set fee? Last time I did this on a Friday night I didn't want to accept anything because she's such a sweetheart and I love the company. But dcm gave me a check for 25. anyways.
    Just wondering what you all would do?
    Thanks!

    I'm working too this Saturday, I charge the same as any other day even if I only work a few hours

    I wouldn't do it for 21 though:hug:

      never work for less than minimum wage Around here teens get $5 and up per hour. I charge $5 an hour during business hours so a Sat I would charge $10 an hour.
      It:: will wait

        I rarely take on babysitting jobs but I am watching someone this afternoon for 3 hours. I charge $10 per hour for babysitting

            Double my hourly rate if it's outside of normal business hours.

            I charge $3 an hour during normal business hours so it would be $6 an hour on a Saturday.
