I don't feel like work was so bad today, but I was just so tired by the time it was time to go home. But, Tuesdays are my long days- I teach religion (1st grade) so all I have time to do is run home to feed and let out the dog, and grab the religion bag.
And of course because I was already exhausted, my religion kids were not good today. They were just so loud and wouldn't focus, half way though the lesson, I stopped and had them color for a few just to regain some sanity. And we bring snack (my mom is my assistant) for the end of class, just something little. But today, they were warned that if they didn't start behaving they weren't getting snack. Well, they didn't. Instead, I had them do another activity in our chapter that I had skipped. You could hear a pin drop in the room, I think they were a little shocked. Hopefully they remember that for next week.Comment

Wow, I've had some crummy days in all my years of doing childcare but yours beats any of mine.
I truly hope today goes as smooth as silk for you. At least, it probably can't get any worse right? Let's hope!
I wonder if all these leaky diaper stories is due to cheap diapers? Some diapers on the market just don't cut the mustard, ya know?Comment
