Two of my kids are sick today, so I only have my 4 year old, and an 18mo old. Today feels like a break. On my real break I'm going to cook down some pumpkins to freeze, plan for a volunteer thing I do Wednesday, clean my kitchen, and if I'm lucky I'll change my sheets, and take care of some stuff online. The mom of the girl I watch is coming to pick her daughter up early today, and if I'm lucky the girl will sleep until about that time. She is picking her up for her 18mo appt.- Flag

I'm eating gingerbread cookies and drinking coffee.
Both my son and my husband were up all night with the stomach flu. Yes, we are sick again over here! My son seems fine today and was bouncing off the walls. Both of "my boys" as well as all the daycare kids are sleeping away and I'm enjoying the peace...- Flag

I'm going back and forth between this forum, my newsletter, thinking of what to do in regards to my contract for next year and to what I want to add or change in my handbook.
2 kids called off today, which never happens so I only have 2 dck's and my ds; it's a pretty easy day.- Flag

Ate lunch with DH. Now he is outside shoveling the tons of snow we got (are currently getting). I am reading the forum and "chatting"(texting) with a member of this forum (Heidi)
Mondays are always LONG nap days.
Most of my kids really need the sleep after the unscheduled weekend and especially today since it was a longer holiday with a lot of activity and little routine.- Flag

I was off work today! So I actually laid down to take a nap myself and then couldn't go to sleep.
But then I decided on my day off to go get my flu and pneumonia shot.

I had nap screamers. Because their parents let them do as they please all long weekend. Ugh! Tomorrow has to be better!- Flag
