Dck scheduled for M/W/F. Requests (and pays for) drop in care Tue. I am closed Thur/Fri. Mom informs me today @ pu that dck won't be attending tomorrow and hands me a check for the following week, minus a day.

My two days off are paid (per contract). My PT schedules are for SET days only also.

I called her out and she (unhappily) rewrote the check for the full amount.

She wanted a refund for the drop in day (today) since it's "even" for tomorrow not attending. Not really, as I turned down another drop in to accept this DCK!

You were right! What's in your contract is what's in there, and just cause she was unhappy does not mean that she's right to have tried to short you a day.

No, you were not wrong! I can't believe she tried to hand you a check with a day short, like it was her decision.
