    Cool DCD!

One of my dcfs that started the end of the summer, they adopted the little girl I care for and are in the process of adopting another little foster girl, who I'm supposed to have after the holidays. Anyways, dcd picks up today and says 'uh, if you do any art projects between now and Christmas, could I have one to frame for my wife for Christmas?' Well, of course, I do crafts and art with the kids a lot. He said he framed one I had sent home and he hung it in his office at work. I thought that was so cool! I mean, how many times do you look in a dck's backpack for something and there is some artwork they did a few days ago?

So now off to find some special Christmas projects to do.

I love that. One time one of my daycare mom posted a picture of her boys on fb and on the fridge was all the work we had been doing here. Made me so happy to see that

One of our daycare parents who had 2 kids enrolled (both in school now), but they put all of the hangable artwork the girls did on the walls of their home office. They just started on the upper corner of one wall and went on until the wall was full from top to bottom!

I have my son's first painting from daycare framed. I use it as a decorative ottoman tray

I went to a former daycare girls birthday party and her mom had several pieces of artwork that we had made at daycare out on display including one plaster handprint that was a pain to make. glad someone enjoyed it!
