    Tea and Sympathy

I just need to whine a bit. I was sick on Tuesday with vomiting and diarrhea so I closed. Today it has hit AGAIN! This time I didn't close thinking it was this tea I drink (Eater's Digest). Haha! I have been nauseated all morning. Oldest DD came home from school with same thing. One DCB left with a low grade fever and nasty wet cough and tugging at his ears. I want to close but feel awful since I was just closed on Tuesday. Right now dcb is sleeping and DH will be home after his nap so he will help with dcb.

I am over "winter", over the illness's! Thing is this is the first time we have been sick. However, dcb that went home sick today, has been gone a lot due to illness. That starts a whole cycle with me of thinking I am not cleaning well enough.

Sometimes you just can't stop the stomach bugs from going around, no matter what you do. Our area got hit pretty badly a few years back-everyone got the bug-teachers in public schools were forced to put buckets out in the hallway for kids to vomit in
I feel the need to disinfect my toys soon, too, even though I try not to over do it. We had a nasty cold run through a few weeks back, and I swear it is still here...somewhere! Yet, there's only so much cleaning we can do, as the colds and bugs still get in!

Last friday dcg vomits, I sent her home. Mon-wed ds had horrible smelling poop and the worst diarrhea diaper I had ever seen, thurs dcb vomits, I send him home. Last night at around 3am ds is tossing and turning in bed with us(same one as above) and I asked what was wrong and he said his belly hurt. We moved to my other ds's room to be more comfy since both were in our bed. I kept waiting for him to vomit on me! He didn't. He did get a fever today and was sleepy and said his belly hurt every once in a while but, that's it. Oh, and yesturday my stomach was upset and that was all I got so far too...All my furniture is covered with sheets and I have towels ready to go over the laps of the little ones and both little garbage cans lined with bags and ready. I told ds(he's 2) that if his belly hurt and stuff come up in his mouth to try to spit it in the bucket. Today he got off his cot and said my belly hurts. He walked to the bucket and did the cutest little "phh" and "spit" in the bucket-just like I told him!:: I bleached all our tables, toys, remotes, door knobs, etc. right after the first one vomited. Didn't really matter I guess. Now I just resolved that we are probably all going to get it.

I hope you all start to feel better soon! I don't care how well we clean, I think lots of sickness is inevitable with small children. I always visualize that 1 tiny germ hiding right outta sight.
