Sometimes, a Little Rearranging is All it Takes

I have a room we've used exclusively as a naproom for a long time.

Well I've been unsatisfied with this application for awhile, as my kids and program have shifted and changed.

Yesterday I finally rearranged it completely and cleaned out the closet. There are two pack n plays for my two little nappers (only nappers right now) and the rest of the room holds space (what a concept, ), a large tote of cardboard blocks, and our nice wooden dollhouse. The closet holds spare baby gates, the cots we aren't using right now, the highchair, the ball pit balls, and a couple other things.

it's a space for building where the dog can't eat the blocks.
it's a space for playing out Big Ideas
it's a space for more space

Later I'll trade out something and put the train tracks out in there so they have Big Spaces to build Big Tracks.
or put out puzzles to have more space to work on those.
or put the baby pool in and fill it with balls.
or the small climber for Indoor Toddler Crazies

I'm so pleased and so are my kids. They had a blast in there last night and this morning playing

now to find homes for the rest of the stuff that I took out of there ::
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!
