    Contract Help

I am not sure how to explain this but I need assistance adding a clause to my contact. Something along the lines of if you are part time and a full time comes along you have the option of moving to full time or losing your spot. It needs to be nice but firm. Not sure how to do it. I have had some many calls for part time when I need a full time kid. So I am going to take the part time until a full time comes but need the families to understand

In the enrollment section of my handbook it says

"Full time families have priority over part time families. Currently enrolled part time families will be given first right of refusal if a full time family wishes to enroll."

Then I make sure to FULLY explain what this means when interviewing.

If the part time family chooses not to up their enrollment status to full time, then I will give them their two weeks notice and enroll the part time family.

I am personally in this for the money/income and which ever family brings in the most money is the one that will win out every time.

Business is business in my book.

I know not all providers run their programs this way and that is 100% ok....that is the beauty of this profession....there is a right fit for everyone
