    Another Illness Question/When To Exclude

Sorry for yet another illness question. Not sure what to do.

DCB 19m was vomiting early yesterday morning around 4am and continued to a little after 8 DCM said. I first saw she posted he was sick at 6 am. So sent her at text at 7am (he was too arrive at 8) that he could not come until tomorrow (today) and only if he feeling better and had no vomiting etc. No reply. I asked herlater in the day how he was doing and she said he was fine. Well FB status said he was doing better but, not 100%.

So today again early this morning she posted she was sick. I sent her a text asking her if she was planning on bringing DCB and that I prefer her to keep him home with her since they were both now sick. I told her that I didn't want to infect our house and every other family we had. Her response was "k".

My question for you all is how long do you exclude for vomiting? She hasn't mentioned a fever or diarrhea.

Thanks all and hope this isn't too confusing.

Until they aren't vomiting anymore! Vomiting and diarrhea are health hazards, especially since it's not in your control and kids usually can't make it to the bathroom.

24-48 hours after the Last excludable symptom happens.
