So I got my temporary license around September 24th. Opened Daycare the 29th of September, still no home evaluation. I live in Central Kansas, when would I get my permanant license and home evaluation?

Normally for the first visit, they call and set it up. It will be the only scheduled visit you have. All the other ones will be surprise. Also have you been checked by the fire marshall? I would call if I was you. -
If you have a temporary that doesn't restrict you, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Does the temporary one have an expiration date?
I'm in a weird place right now where I have a 'county issued license' and getting transferred to the state. They still don't have me in their system, but said that I can use my county issued license just the same, and won't get theirs until the background checks come back (and I haven't even gotten the paperwork I need to be fingerprinted again yet). I have no idea how long it's going to take... but that's on them, it doesn't hold up my business.
Yes call, get an idea of how long it will take, but don't worry or stress about it.Comment

Has state came out for there intl inspection? I'm in Kansas also, If they have came out, they should have left your report with you. In my case I had a few things I had to fix, so I had to wait for my actual licence for them to do a surprise visit. By law they have to inspect and reinspect, and get your License to you before your temp one expires. Also If they haven't called to set up your first inspection then I would call them and get it scheduled, because if they do need to come back and check you again, it can take 4-6 weeks. This way you don't run the chance of your temp licence expiring.Comment
