I have a parent who asked me to watch her kids plus niece and nephews, total of 6 kids. She bought tickets to a concert for her and her mom and forgot about who would watch the kids. One of her daughters is with me during the day already so she will be here. They would get dropped off at 630pm and picked up about midnight. I need help with what to charge, should I charge my hourly rate, which is $10 an hour, or should I charge a drop in rate. I'm all types of confused and don't want to overcharge her. All suggestions welcome! Thank you ladies!

You could also charge $20 kid, like a flat rate.- Flag

Do you list your rate in your contract for after-hours or hourly? If so, that is what you should go by.
I charge $50/child per 12 hours for after hours/weekend care. If the kids are there for 4 hours, $50. 10 hours, $50. 12 hours and 1 minute, $100.- Flag
