    Child Tied to a Cot

I can't believe a teacher would do this to a child whether the child was harmed or not and whether she was joking or not.

Even if it were a joke, her comments were completely unprofessional. If I were a parent, I would be so mad that they knew this was going on and didn't stop it or say anything to me!

This is like 40 min from me! Seriously can't believe how non-nonchalant everyone is taking this, the preschool, the lawyer, DHS, the dad...

"The assistant director indicated the child had a history of not wanting to nap."
"The teacher told investigators the child was rolling off the cot that day and trying to get up."

What kid likes to nap?? I think in 5 years I have had maybe one, and she doesn't even really like to nap, she just knows when she needs one and doesn't fight it.

What is the big probable with "get back on your cot" or picking them up and putting them back x1000 ? That is what the rest of us do right?? With every new child we have to do that for a while until they understand that no matter how many times they try to get up they will always have to go back until nap is over...

I agree. This is abuse, plain and simple. NO matter how they attempt to spin it. Not even touching on the lack of photo release on a public (?) personal instagram page. SCARY!

I put kids back on mats 1000x shush them, allow them to read quietly, etc. IT'S MY JOB!
