    *Sigh* What Quiet Time?

I put my 21 month old dcg down for a nap at 12:45, she went to sleep and now she's awake again crying. I know if I go in, I'll have to bring her back out of the bedroom then everyone gets to wake up. What would you do?
Oh, and she never goes back to sleep once she wakes up. She was exhausted this a.m., I really thought she'd sleep at least an hour. Ughhhh

Could you set her up with books or coloring that you put out once she is asleep? Then, when she wakes up, she could do these activities independently? It's probably too late to do for today, but maybe going forward?

I put my bigs (2-4.5) in a separate room and nap my 22mo in the playroom near me now. She takes a 30-45 minute nap for the DAY. PERIOD. Cranky pants at PU, and dinner/bath/bed as soon as she gets home. I give her board books and puzzles and shush her and she will stay in the entire nap though. It took a good 2 weeks of working on it, and some tears, for her to get that it's quiet time. If I let her out of the PnP, she makes it her mission in life to wake her friends. ::

I have a separate napping room for infants. I had a child who would never nap so I had to use white noise, but I termed for other issues & everyone naps now!!
