Knock Knock! Who's There?

It's the state inspector! A complaint was filed!

My heart dropped but I knew who did it. Termed mom who made a negative post on FB reported I had babies sleeping in closets , one of her sons slept on the floor in the hallway with no pillow or cover, had a blower on to drown out screaming, the list went on & on.

The inspector remembered the blower from her last regular visit as being a white noise, but it wasn't on this & she asked why. I told her I recently termed a family & we didn't need it anymore, all they other children sleep well at nap time. She did her thing, asked questions & said the complaint was unfounded. She told me not to let this detour me from what I do & encouraged me to open another daycare.

Is it wine thirty yet?

Good grief! I DO NOT understand vindictive people making false allegations. Then when they are TRULY founded, the state is less likely to take them seriously, kwim?

It's always a little stressful when an inspector shows up, but I guess I was more mad than nervous. I now get the privileged of seeing termed mom in court for skipping out on her fees. I added up all the dollar a minute late fees too. BAM!

I don't understand how people can just lie like that. I don't care how mad I am at someone, there is NO way I could do that to someone. Babies in closets...don't you think others would have said something!? Some people! I just don't get it!

I will say this....it does **** when they hve to come out to and inspect, but at least it shows that you are CLEARED.......you can hang it on the wall for all to see.......

A parent came by to pick up her baby when the inspector was here, she thought she was another parent looking for care. She told her I was by far the best daycare & the most caring woman she would ever take her kids to & to sign up while I had space. Awww! I thought that was nice of her & GREAT she said it to an inspector not knowing who she was!

that was awesome of the mom. also when you take her to court make sure that you get a report of why the inspector was there this will play in your favor.
