I had a daycare kiddo with a low fever 99.0, and a headache. Allmy other kids had been spreading around a n icky virus so I figured the dcb had caught it. I called dcd and he asked if dcb was ok to stay. He was slow but playing, and fever was below cut off so I didnt push it. Kiddo took a long nap and dad picked up one hour (HOLY DEDICATION, not) before usual pick up time. Dcb missed next two days of care, out sick, and when he returned he revealed that he threw up all over on the way home.

Mean, but I chuckled to myself. I bet dcd wished he had picked up 5 hours before when I called so he didn't have to detail his nice interior! Next time, Im certain he will leave work more rapidly!

Oh no horrible for dad but hopefully good for you. Maybe he will think about this the next time you call saying child is sick .
