Laugh in the kids' faces

DCG has an excuse for everything! She is not used to doing anything on her own and just turned 5 yrs old!!

Sometimes the excuses she makes are so funny or ridiculous that i have to try really hard not to burst out in laughter...

Why not laugh? You don't have to be mean about it, but if it is funny, you can laugh. I don't try to stop it.

I have also been known to ask, "Does that excuse work for you anywhere? 'Cause that is silly."

I sometimes want to laugh in my Munchausen dcm's face, my kids are too little to tell stories....

DCG is playing with lacing cards. I tell her its time to clean up.
DCG-"mommy really wants me to go to lacing school so I need to keep practicing so I can't clean up right now."

Maybe Im just delirious today :: but im just like (in my head) huh..?? lacing school...really?? It makes me want to laugh
