I've had to alter my schedule for lunch on Wednesdays because I have to get the kids down for an early nap. One of them has PT from 2 -3. There's no way I can keep them up that long and start naps after PT. It's just too late in the day. My dilemma is do I serve lunch at 11 and get them down or do I do a snack at 10:30, put them down for naps, then give them lunch when I get they get up at 1:00 ish. Two of them are almost three years olds and two are 16 month olds. Thoughts?

I've done away with morning snack & bumped lunch up. It seems like I'm always preparing food & getting hands washed. We eat to 11:30, but I've had them fed, read & in bed by that time before,.

I don't do a morning snack. We actually eat lunch here at 10:40 and nap between 11:20-11:30. I have a young group and they need it. I'm trying to push it back a bit because my 2 oldest (soon to just be dd) could use a later nap. But its just what works for us now.- Flag

I'd make them move PT, personally. (I'm assuming PT means physical therapy in this case?) I've had loads of therapists come through my home to do therapy with the dcks. I've always had a strict policy of not having them do it during meal times or nap times. If it doesn't work to do it with my schedule, than they need to be doing it within their own home. They've always made it work and came to me when it worked for everyone involved.
