    Bruise Inside Diaper

One of my dc girls came in w a penny sized bruise inside diaper area today. I took picture and.texted mom, what else do I do to cover myself here? She is not being abused, her parents are great, but bruises scare my because of a false CPS report in the past.

I personally would never take a picture of a childs diapered area. That right there could open a much larger can of worms for you than a tiny bruise.

If the child is toddler age they're extremely common (not the best walkers, fall on their bums quite a bit).

Document it and the parents response and move on

Thank you. The photo wasn't explicit, no face or genitals shown. I understand the sensitivity of these kind of things, my ex called CPS on me for a bruise and I felt my son was abused BY CPS with the photos they took. My life has been a nightmare ever since so when I saw it I freaked a little. I know bruises happen but I also know how horribleand broken the system here is.

I understand, and I'm sorry that happened to you and your son.

If I were you'd I'd sketch a little picture along with the documented note detailing time, date, size and color. If you can save a screen shot of what you sent to mom and what her response was that would be great. Put it in his folder and then try to breathe, it'll be ok.
