    Need Some Contract Wording Help

I need help with a new contract I am writing. The family is taking their kids from full time to some wacky schedule and I am fearful that the children will not adjust to it, so I want to require another TRIAL or adjustment period.

Does this make sense to you? what would you change.

Adjustment Period: With all new contracted schedule changes, the provider needs to make sure that both children are able to adjust well to the new requested schedule. From xxx date to xxx the provider has the right to terminate care should the children not be able to adjust . The provider my choose to terminate care during this time or if available, offer to have both children return to full time care status.

That's a hard one considering they're already an established client. I have a 2wk trial period in my contract where either party can cancel immediately without reason. Otherwise a 2wk notice is required from parents but I can always terminate immediately if needed. I've never had anyone question it.

I want to do this because I want to be able to have an out if the new schedule does not work. I am very doubtful that it will work due to behavioral issues, but trying to keep as positive as possible.

Basically, the parents will still need to give a 30day notice, they are the ones who are demanding the new schedule, I am the one who is left trying to see if it will even work....
