The second is what I have tried. It was a lot of fun!

Yeah we actually did black construction paper with white paint and dipped their foot in and then on the paper and added those plastic googly eyes last year when the babies were 8 & 10mos.
You could also do the hand prints out of black paper and glue/staple them in the palms to make spiders. I think that's what we're doing this year.

I did hand print bats, and I am going to paint their feet white and put them on black or orange paper to make ghosts.

In my baby room we did Frankenstein hands and candy corn feet. We also did foot ghosts and palm of the hand pumpkins on a window (all in washable tempera paint). We also did spider webs using marbles in white paint on black paper, but that is probably not something a 3 month old could do.

Yep! I bought an 8 or 10 pack of Crayola finger paints and use different colors for different holidays!
