But I also second the going to another floor. Because of my main level open floor plan we nap upstairs in the guest room. It's just always worked better for us. I would love to be able to do some clean and prep while kids are sleeping - but I have to be on the same floor at all times (which makes total sense when kids are awake) At the same time the reg gives me an excuse as to take a break for myself since I can't do those things.
Oh- ok!! I thought I missed something!
Yes- I have the schedule with examples in my paper work.

I would put a little bit of water in the kiddies pool during the summer for my kids. They are all under 18 months so a sprinkler is a bit scary. They would have loved splashing in a pool! Instead I use my pool for other things (leaves, foam, balls, etc.) I also wish we could change their diapers when they need changing instead of every 2 hours (unless poopy or very wet of course).

Same except my daughter is 9 and in a high back booster (recently converted from a 5 pt) and my 7 year old is in a 5pt.

Whaaaat? Why can't you change a dck's diaper before the 2 hour mark? Surely this can't be the reg:confused: I know most states put in they must be changed *at least* every two hours in order to make sure the child isn't sitting in their waste. But I've never read a reg that says you can't change them until the 2 hour mark. Bizarre.

That's not what I meant. We have to check diapers at the 2 hours mark (unless we've previously changed them because they were poopy or we noticed they were wet). Some of our kids are often dry. Instead of checking them on a timeline, I'd rather just change them when they need it. It's not a big deal and only take a few moments to check, note that it is dry, and write it on their sheet, it just feels silly. Just a minor little thing.

We have a new surveyor this year and she has made our job MUCH easier by allowing the parent's to give permission for topical OTC's like sunscreen, insect repellent and desitin to the Health Information Profile and not having us keep a log of it each time happyface Found out about this a week ago and still doing the happy dance when I think about it! If I add up all the minutes I spend logging bug spray and diaper cream each year I will be saving like 20 hours a year!
