    Took Our First Field Trip!

It was a huge success! We took the kids to the local Pumpkin Patch where they have a 'Field of Fun'. There are a million things to do and it was a blast! I was able to take the kids because one of my FT kids doesn't come on Mondays and everyone could fit in my car , but that family was still able to meet us at the Patch so he could join us. We also had a former family join us (my family that lost their job and had to pull, my extreme crier and Special needs girl), so it was great to see everyone together. It was just a blast for everyone. I also got my first group shot of all my 'Sprouts' and for some reason that was really special to me.

OMG so jealous....looks like you guys had a blast..........we have not been on any field trips in a while because my insurance went up and I have been shopping for another policy.

Do you mind if I ask who you are using for auto insurance. I am with allstate and they are telling me that I now need to have a commercial auto policy, which will cost me about $425.00 a month. I am still thinking about it, because we used to go on field trips 2-3times a week.

I use Esurance. Its very affordable, but I also don't usually use my car for work.

Looks like a great time. We have a place just like that down the street called underwood Farms. They even have a corn crop maze. We get our pumpkins there for the holidays. http://www.underwoodfamilyfarms.com/event_calendar.html

Not trying to be a debbie downer, but without the proper insurance to transport, you are taking a HUGE risk. Years ago when I was with Allied, I told them that I was doing childcare and they dropped me.

Sorry, not trying to scare you or anything, I am happy to hear that you guys had a blast. I can't wait until we find new coverage so that we can go out on field trips again.

I have a massive Liability policy, I don't think it would be a problem. But thanks for your concern.
