I Am Dumb!

I am so dumb! This year I synced my days off with my dh holiday days off. I completely forgot about Columbus Day! My dh came home from work and he was like guess what!? I don't work Monday! Then quickly realized that I am suppose to have Monday off! I feel so dumb! I can not believe I forgot about a day off! I called my parents and surprisingly they were all very understanding!

If you PREplanned these days off in advance, weren't your daycare parents already aware that you'd be closed?

I'm not seeing how this is an issue?

I pre-plan my closed/off days and give my parents a yearly calendar with the closed/off days highlighted.

I don't do any reminding.
