Sorry about HFM ... it is a ****y illness to deal with (DD had it TWICE, it made her the most miserable little thing ever both times).
They say as long as blisters are present, it is contagious ... I had to keep my DD out of daycare (this was before I had my own), until her mouth (she never had any on her hands or feet) blisters went away. I think it was a week.
