You should check out Pinterest. There are a ton of ideas there.

I attached magnets to sticks, acorns and leaves using a glue gun and the children can make their own trees. I found the idea online.

I cut out felt pieces (and used some I had) to make a fall scene on the felt board that the children can rearrange.

Here are my fall themes for October:

Community Helpers-October is Fire Prevention Month! I'm going to call the local sheriffs office to see if an officer will come by one day. We are also going to have fire drills and I do Fun Fridays and the children can wear a shirt with a community helper thing on it or bring a vehicle like a fire truck

Fall Trees-our Fun Friday is searching for leaves and doing leaf prints. We also did hand print leaves and made apples out of paper plates. I have a display on my wall of a tree (made of paper) with the hand print leaves and apples hanging from it. (I did fall last week so we did some things)

Fall Harvest featuring pumpkins
Our Fun Friday is painting mini pumpkins. I'm also going to introduce fall fruits and veggies and do corn painting.

Creepy Crawlers and Animals
Fun Friday we are going to do a worm dig! We will also talk about other creepy bugs and animals and look for them outside

Then the last week we are doing Halloween and having a party on Friday. We'll also do crafts and make tasty goodies!

Those are some ideas. My kids are 2.5 and under so I have simple activities for their age.

There is so much to do with fall themes!

I always cycle through the same themes in the fall and just keep adding in new ideas as my kids grow and change.

"back to school" even though I am not a school the kids love the school bus etc.

FIre Saftey is in there too.

We usually go into animals with squirrels, owls, bears etc

Thanksgiving
