    Soooo Not Into It Today!

Don't you hate that feeling? It's rubbing off on the kids too. They wanted nothing to do with books, circle, crafts, etc. Just one of those days!
Then i get a call for an interview. ugh. 4:00 today, so now i need to prep for that and no one wants to nap! LOL

I feel like you every Friday:: in my case it's the anticipation of the upcoming weekend ...I can't wait, I'm counting the minutes and that's why time seems to be standing still

I feel that way most days, but think that is because I am completely burned out. I wish I could enjoy doing this as much as I used to though! The occasional not into it day would be great right now, as opposed to the opposite. Good luck with your interview! Hope it's an ideal family. 4:00 on a Friday is tough. Usually by then I am ready to be done!

I hear you. I was in that place last spring. I made drastic changes. I now work only MWF, so even bad days I know I have the next day or two off. But the change in hours caused my trouble maker to leave. I have all really good kids now!

As for my interview, it was the strangest interview EVER!
The mom smelled of patrooli. Grandma had a mohawk!
They stayed for maybe 5 minutes. So either they really liked it or really hated it. I'm guessing on the latter.

I actually only have 1 dck right now and she goes to preschool M/W/F morning so on those days I don't have to work until she gets here at noon. It is helping a little, but I think I am at the point I need to move on. Just haven't figured out what I want to move on to. With 3 kids age 10 and younger any job I get means putting them in daycare, meaning I have to make twice as much. I'm not making enough now with just the one, so I know giving up those mornings off is inevitable, but I don't want to! Best decision I ever made was to follow the school calendar. Whenever school is closed, so am I. I think I hope for snow days more than my kids do in the winter ::::
