    Facebook (again)

I'm working on my facebook page and marketing in general. It took a while to get licensed, then I enrolled two preschoolers right off the bat, and then nothing. So I'm really trying to get this going.

Anyway, first, thanks to those of you who have shared your facebook pages here. It's so fun to see what everyone is doing.

Second, would a few of you have time to check out mine and give feedback. I know the logo isn't great, but it was something dh and I were able to put together as a temporary fix, at least. I've got 24 likes, but FB won't unlock some admin. insights until you hit 30, and I'm just sitting here stuck at 24. Would six of you be kind enough to "like" me.

(Ha! That sounds way too much like being the lonely girl in jr. high hoping someone will like her. )

    Here's my page: https://www.facebook.com/oakcrestkids

I guess I've finally gotten over my worries about posting so much online. Seems like I'm just throwing information about myself all over the place!

I liked your page for you! Well, I really did actually LIKE your page! Using the facebook page instead of daily "what I did today" sheets is a fantastic idea! And is probably much simpler for you..

Thanks! And yes, since I just have preschoolers, I don't have to do diaper and feeding reports (like for infants), so using fb saves me time and paper and ink. Parents seem to like it too.

I DO like you facebook page...and your approach! I am actually working on a project for my Practicum right now about incorporating the natural world into an infant and toddler program.

I liked it so much, I did it with my personal and daycare accounts. Now you have to match them. Shhhh! Don't give away my real name.

I have major jealousy issues over your outdoor space! LOVE IT and I 'liked' your page.

Hey, how do you update your pics so easily and quickly?

I have a new IPOD, so it's not as hard to upload pictures as with my old camera, but the keyboard on the IPOD is so dang small it takes me a week to type a couple words.

I sympathize...I was stuck at 28 "likes" for ages. Just hit 30 today, and didn't gain a lot of insight from the added info. Maybe it will be more helpful as information collects.

I'd already "liked" you before, so can't help right now, but wanted to wish you luck!

                          Aw, thanks everyone!

I do love our outdoor space. We have two wooded acres toward the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Actually, ours is the smallest lot on the street. I often tell people that I like our location way more than the floor plan of the house. It's not ideal for a large family, and then throw daycare into the mix. Well, it's a good thing we all like each other!

I just use my camera and upload the pictures onto my mac. Once they're in iPhoto, it's pretty easy to upload them to facebook. I do it all at naptime. Or, excuse me, rest time. My three year olds fuss about naptime, but are fine with rest time. And they nap every time.

                              ok, got it.

My Toshiba is more complicated. I thought that the IPOD would make it so much easier, and it would, if my fingers were smaller. Maybe I need to try one of those stylus'.
