What a great read! I too had tears in my eyes. It shows that some parents do care and it also shows how parents too are human. I'm referring to the part where she took her child wrapped in a blanket without clothes on and how she felt inadequate. Sometimes I think we as providers tend to say things about parents when they do something like what this mom did and most of the time (not always though) there is a valid explanation for it. I admit I have been guilty of doing this. Just a thought.
