Sometimes all we need is to get it written down/talked out to KNOW the right answer.

I do the same thing all the time, with everything, to my hubs. I talk it up to him and then walk away without him saying a word, knowing what I need to do. "Thanks for listening, hun!" and he's like "Um, you're welcome??!?!" ::
