Clearly shocking and scandalous means something very different to me than to all of you on the private forum.

Maybe that's because I'm new at this job. Once I'm a seasoned and experienced childcare provider, maybe I'll be shocked by different things.

Like the weather.

I'm way behind most of you! I read at least three times a week but, as a newbie to daycare in general (been teaching just over a year) sometimes I feel more comfortable reading than posting. I've learned a LOT though! I'm just now getting to the point where I feel a little more comfortable getting my feet wet.

I just got in. You have to have 600 posts and be here 6 months. My posts were up to 600 a month or so early. I just had to wait a month. I knew I was gabby but......

It isn't much different than here but now I feel I can, if I wanted to, give more specific details say about a day care family. It seems like if you put it here then they could happen upon it and figure out it was them you are talking about. That kind of thing.

Yikes, just looked at my stats!! I've been a member for a year and have only made 60 posts!!! Feels like a lot more But I agree with the other member that said by the time I get to post, my points have already been made and I don't feel like typing the same thing, that would be pretty boring for everyone to read. 600 posts is quite a lot. I wonder how "they" decided on this number??
