    And So It Begins

I only have four children to care for, but every single one of them walked in with an icky runny nose today. I miss the nice weather.

Hope it desn't hit here for awhile! We were 12 degrees above normal yesterday and it's going to be hot & humid today.....I'm in WI, so I hope we have a loooong, beautiful fall!

Same here. After a lovely illness-free summer, most have the lovely runny nose and cough (l care for multiple ages including after-school kids). Welcome back to the germ factory, I mean school!

I have already had the "teething" and "allergies" excuses for runny noses this week. Funny how they make it thru spring and summer without teething/allergies, but when fall and winter hit, those teeth start popping in!

:: I had to laugh! My son and ds both have runny noses (clear) and I am using the teething excuse (with my son at least). They both are actually teething though! ::

I had a rival excuse to teething presented today. I had a DCB leave care yesterday morning because he vomited twice within ten minutes. Dad said "he was acting great. He must have drank his milk too fast". Ummm...yeah...full on vomit not once but twice. Or maybe he was sick? Just a guess.
