OT - Shave for the Brave

I know I am really new here, and I am not even sure if this is allowed so I apologize if it is not. My sister and I are shaving our heads to raise funds for research and to spread awareness for childhood cancers. Se turns 33 this month and hopes to raise $3300 for St. Baldrick's Shave for the Brave. Please consider donating to this cause, every little but he's and these kids could really use the help.

46 kids are diagnosised every week day..... Cancer is the number one disease killer of children and second in overall killer of children. First being car accidents. Many children who do survive cancer are left with health complications because of the strong medications and treatments they were given. Here is the link of where you can donate.

I did this a year ago. We raised $800. Thinking about doing it again this year.

I donate my hair every few years. Christmastime this year should mark my 10th donation!

If your hair is long enough, have it ponytailed and donate it, too!

Part of the reason I am shaving is that I can donate my hair and my sister can't. Se has recently bleached her hair and St. Baldrick's won't take it if it is dyed or bleached. I am really excited to join this cause with my sister.
