    Fall Festival Ideas?

Our little town hosts a fall festival, and I'm thinking about the possibility of hosting a children's activity to promote my preschool. Other local business are hosting things like face painting, bounce house, games. I'm wondering:

    1) are such things generally productive uses of time...does anyone actually get business leads from such things? I can only have five preschoolers at a time, and I already have 2 beginning soon. Is it worth it for 3 more spots?

    2) anyone have ideas for a good activity to attract families of preschoolers. My preschool has an outdoor, nature-based, eco/green focus...so something that would tie in to that would be great.

I'm always asking for ideas...I'm still new at this! Hopefully I'll be able to give advice soon!

How about print making with apples (cut in half)? You could get some burlap and cut it into squares. A couple bowls of paint in red and green and a bunch of already sliced in half apples... that's all you would need!

Here's a link to the idea as well as many others. I just pinned this last night... http://myblessedlife.net/2011/09/fall-kids-crafts.html

I think it's worth it to get your name out... build up a waiting list... and fill those three spots!

Thanks...I'm tracking down more information about it, but really hoping I can get those spots filled sooner!
