Yes- I would exclude for that!! Probably after the third time I would have required a note from the dr... And esp because you said it is all liquid!! That's not ok for dck or anyone else! In my experience juice is usually the culprit.

I was thinking juice, first time fresh fruit eater (yes, it happens ) McD's or candy treats to keep him quiet on the ride over..... but since he is new it could also be Nervous IBS (explosive, noisy, smelly).

Does he fight nap? Is he shy?

Are the parents saying he does not do this at home?
        - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

Well parents said he doen'st drink juice. They said he doens't get sweets, pop. They did admit early on they had fed him an entire meal of fruit. But then said in the last couple of weeks he hadn't had fruit. Parents are new parents and young. And they live separate. It was mom who fed him a meal of fruit. This kid can eat food quicker than you can blink. I think the mom just keeps giving him fruit.

Since I don't' know what they are doing. I'll just revise the policy. If Monday is runny I tell them. If Tuesday is runny excluded for 24 hours from the time of the diaper. If it happens more than once I'll ask them again to bring him to the doctor. I guess I could require a note from the doctor stating that the child is not contagious or have any bacterial infections.

One of my girls picked up c difficile from a bathroom at a school when she was only 3. She had explosive diarrhea and no other symptoms. If I hadn't brought her to the doctor and had the stool sample done I wouldn't have even known.

Exactly- I think to have that kind of Bms for such a long duration there has to be something going on!

They brought him to the doctor. Doctor scribbled out a note saying he doesn't ahve any communicable illness and should be allowed at attend daycare. I aksed if the doctor took a stool sample. No he didn't. He asked them some questions and did a physical exam.

I have had it. I told them if he has diarrhea today that he is out for 24 hours from the time of the diarrhea. I noticed yesterday the child is loosing weight. This is getting ridiculous.
