Does anyone mind sharing their discipline policy? I care for children up to 3 years old. I want to put something in my policy handbook. Thanks!

(Name of Center) participates in positive guidance. This method teaches children the skill of self-discipline. Children are not born with this skill; they need to develop it as they grow. Children develop self-discipline in an environment where there are clear, consistent and age appropriate limits for behavior. The caregiver’s role is to help children understand their emotions, peers’ emotions and the consequences of their actions.
Examples of Positive Guidance for Infants and Toddlers
