    He Said What? (Giggle)

DCB1 has been in timeout a lot this week. DCB2 says, "You're lucky mimi likes you. Other people will put you in jail & throw away the key. That's what they did to my dad."

That's my Friday..., how about yours?

Mine is pretty calm so far. A two year old (who loves pointing out body parts) tried to point at a five year old's nose, the five year old moved, and the two year old poked him IN the nose hard enough that the older boy's nose bled. the two year old was mortified and very apologetic.

I had to tell the five year old not to stand on top of a climber.

    And these gems:
5 year old boy: "Miss Silver! When i was on the top of that climby thing, I jumped, and I landed on my hands AND my feet, and [hands on hips] it did NOT kill me!"Me: "Um, congratulations!"
Boy: "Yeah, it was very VERY dangerous. For babies of course.

5.5 year old girl, in a cozy coupe: "I'm a food truck."
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

        LOL!!!

My own 5yo told me today "Guess what Mom, none of my bones OR my head are broken. Are you surprised?"

        "Um, yes?"

and then he reminded me of what I said on 4th OF JULY to dh about it would surprise me if he made it through the summer without breaking something. ::

It's amazing kids can remember everything we don't want them to remember but can't remember to follow rules.

It's also amazing they can hear things, even if we are whispering from another room, but when y tell them to clean up their toys, their hearing suddenly declines.

              Haha

Not that I don't like having them home, but I get tired of refereeing...
