Has School Started Where You Are?

I care for children from 4 different schools. They all start Monday except one family starts school after Labor Day, which is how it always used to be when I was growing up.

I'll be going from 12 rambunctious crazy loud busy active kids to 3 little girls and maybe a couple afterschoolers from time to time. What a change it's going to be. I think I'll like it but do hope it picks up, financially.

Hoping your days are a little more peaceful. My kids' school started August 21st although I know many people who started the week before or even the first week of August. Hope it is a good change, enjoy it while you can!

We started aug 8. I've enjoyed the last couple slow weeks but now I need more kids! Hopefully I can get numbers up soon.

My district started Au 8th & I love it. I have 4 SA & make only $9 less a week per child. This morning mom was running late with 2 of them..., she dropped them off & they got on the bus. I still get paid. BAM!

We start after Labor Day - always. I wish they started next Monday!

We started the first week of August and its been very peaceful at my house since my youngest son started K this year.

My income hasn't changed because all of my daycare kids are generally afternoon only.

Our actual school district started yesterday.

Neighboring school districts starting last Thursday and last Monday.

My own kids start on the Wed. after Labor Day. We used to live in California and their school there started at the beginning of August.

Teachers go back Monday, students the following Tuesday.

school here starts Sept. 3rd

We started Aug. 14th. We always start mid- August and end the 3rd week of May.

My son attends private school and they started Aug 13th. The public schools here started Monday.
