Closing Advice

I keep seeing providers that are closing posting on here. I would love to close, but not sure how or when. I have applied for several jobs and have a couple of interviews that look promising next week.

If I get one, I will close. I have been in business for 8 years. I see advice on here about how to tell parents, but when? I guess my question is, I have 5 families. What order do you tell them and how to spread the word to the community that I am closing???

I am ready to do this, but scared at the same time. I don't do well with change.

what does your contract require you to give? if you accept a job and you cannot afford for anyone to skip out early, i would not tell them until you absolutely have to because otherwise, people will just leave quickly when they find out, which makes sense since they need to get other childcare asap. I personally would give four weeks notice but if your contract says two weeks, you are within your right to do that.
