Does anyone have any idea how long homemade slime will last? (Borax, glue, water) I thought I'd make a batch for a small birthday present, but if it only lasts 1 day, I won't bother. I'll just do playdoh.

We've been playing with the same batch for almost a month now. I just store it in a ziplock bag

I'm too afraid to use it since borax is poisonous. as icky as it feel I can still see kids trying to eat it!

I've never had this issue, playdough yes but never this. My kids like it more of a sticky consistency rather than flubber-ish so maybe that's part.

Thanks. He's 7 so I'm not too worried about eating it. I'll clear it with mom. I just didn't want a o e time use gift.
