I just lost two Ft families because im now closed two days a week, but my Dd is 4 and will go to K next year, so i don't care about the cost. I will never get this time back.

And I cant "afford" to do it. I will likely lose my car and we have to make major cut backs. I couldnt be happier though!
    Good for you!!! happyface

update: the 2 kids I was going to take for the earlier closing backed out (free grandma daycare instead) so looks like now I'm stuck with the later closing. I could afford the cut in pay but I can't afford NOTHING in place of them. I am very bummed!! I really needed to make the change by labor day weekend if I was going to do it.

I was bored so I decided to check out Pinterest and I just happen to be looking at your pins (linked in another thread) and I found something YOU pinned that is appropriate to your dilemma. I figured I should post it since YOU pinned it..... LOL!

I am also assuming the "kids" doesn't mean daycare kids.

If you really cant lose all this income permanently, I would keep interviewing for part time spots and then term when you can. if you have to keep the $140, can you hire a neighbor or college student to do just the end of the day care? that way you can be done earlier and get going to the sports practices but not lose the kids long term.
