    Preschool: MWF or TWT?

I'm going to start offering preschool only hours for kids that stay at home with their moms but they want to prepare them for school. I've been back and forth on when to offer it. Should I do it Monday, Wednesday, Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday?

Most the preschools in my area offer a T, Th option for the young 3's (and some 4s) and a M,W,F option for the older 4-5 yr olds

For some reason those options work well.

I personally think the T,W,Th option would almost be too long for preschoolers....

Our Kindergarten classes just recently switched to all day every day.

I'm so jealous. I went to half day Kindergarten, but shortly after they went to full day. Then the public schools added half day Pre-K, which this year has become FULL DAY Pre-K.

I wouldnt want my child in full day kindergarten, let alone full day Pre-K. I don't have kids yet, but when I do - I will have to figure something out.

I do only preschool. I do a 3 hr morning preschool class Mon & Wed class and/or a Tues & Thurs class. I also offer a Friday Mom's Morning Out class from 9-12, however I only do 2-3 Fridays per month, saving some Fridays to help at my older daughters school or spend one on one time with my younger daughter. It is the perfect schedule. I love it!

I know I'm going to offer it from 8:30am-12:30pm so it's not a full day. I just didn't know if it would be better to spread the days out or have them back to back and then a 4 day gap in between.

Our preschools here do as Blackcat said. MWF for older kids, T/Th for younger kids.

If I were choosing which I'd want to teach, I'd pick T/W/Th and have a 4 day weekend....
