Has anyone checked out the new proposed regulations on the OCFS website? Thoughts? Comments? Is anyone planning on writing a letter to give input?

I haven't been to the website (do you have a link? I did a quick look on the home page but nothing popped out at me
) I read the letter that I was sent and I remember thinking 'already do that' 'about time'. My only 'worry' was that there was something in it about redefining what they mean by 'direct competent supervision' since they didn't clarify that in the letter. My registrar said that it means that children be within direct line of supervision at all times (unless napping with a permission slip) but they approved my home layout even though when I cook they are NOT in eyesight.

I'd suggest you comment anyway, because in the last rewrite of regs in my state, things that used to be approved, are no longer approved. Regardless of how many years of faithful service...Comment
