Very sweet! I might have gone with a calmer fabric for the curtains since it's a nap area, but I do really like it. And it must be nice to have such a pretty laundry area!

Thanks guys! Thanks so much laundryduchess and others for the great suggestions.
Just sent the new pics to my licensing rep and she's reconsidering so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she says that room is ok for napping now.- Flag

I love the curtains, I would still cover the washer and dryer, get a tub curtain rod (they are adjustable and hang the same type of curtains up so you can't see the w & d and I think it would look so good. Then no parent will think that their child is sleeping in the laundry room.- Flag

Make sure that you can not get locked out. Some interior doors like bathrooms automatically come with locks on the door so change door knobs or have a plan of action ready. I think your room is a good size, but if you find the new space is tough for them to sleep in find a more calming curtain. I'm not sure if you've painted already, but you could do an earth-tone color like tan or cream or light blue and then use off-white plain curtains so the room doesn't feel too small with the walls painted.
This is what Child Care Resource and Referral states on their site under "Child Care Health and Safety Daily Checklist" under "Health and Safety-Injury Prevention": Cots/Cribs are placed 3 feet apart or have barrier and assigned to a specific child or cleaned and sanitized after each use.- Flag

I'm with laundry dutchess...I am a total neat/organization freak..
What I would do is make the room look like the washer/dryer doesnt belong in the room..what I mean by that is make it look so it looks like a bedroom but someone would say why do they have a washer/dryer in their room? Instead of why is there a pnp in the laundry room? Know what I mean?
I would paint the room, and have nice crisp white trim, and use a valance over the window, and I would also use a shower rod and put curtains up to cover the washer & dryer.
I am jealous too of having a room like that!- Flag
