    Birthdays and daycare

One of my dcgs is turning 4 this week and the mom brought in a poster announcing her birthday party(put on by them), plus an envelope of reminders for parents to take. I always host a small something here for each birthday child.
How do you all handle the 'home' goings-on of birthday parties and invites? Just curious...I will say one thing, the dcks are all invited, they never leave anyone out.

If everyone was invited I wouldn't have an issue- although a poster is a bit over board!! ::

Each kid here has a basket in their cubby. If someone wants to invite someone to their birthday party, they usually just bring the invitation and put it in the child's basket.

I don't pay too much attention to who does and doesn't get invited. If a child happens to mention to the other kids that Billy is invited but Johnny is not, I just try to deflect and change the subject.

I don't try too hard to conceal/protect/ or hide the fact that some kids are invited and some aren't because that's life. It happens. It will happen again.
